Rodney Young

Operational excellence, learned the only way it really can be — running operations.

Rodney spent a decade inside food and industrial manufacturing, progressing from the production floor through plant leadership to plant manager of Ardent Mills' Port Allen, Louisiana flour mill. Along the way he led safety turnarounds, Lean transformations, maintenance overhauls, and BRC audits — and when the Port Allen plant was closed in a corporate consolidation, he led his team through the closure with the same care he brought to running it.

His experience extends beyond manufacturing: Rodney has applied Lean principles and operational leadership in support of U.S. Department of State passport operations, proof that the same discipline that moves a mill's flow rate also moves a government processing floor. He holds a U.S. government security clearance.

He founded Young Industries Unlimited on a simple belief: every process and every organization can be improved, and the improvements that last are the ones the workforce owns.
